Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and translate business problems into clear and actionable data requirements.
- Develop a comprehensive data sourcing strategy by identifying relevant data sources, acquisition methods, and collection schedules.
- Clean, prepare, and organize data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality.
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns and obtain key business insights.
- Champion best practices for data governance, ensuring data quality and consistency throughout the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve data processes and tools.
- Communicate complex business needs to technical teams and simplify technical solutions for business stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and promote data-driven solutions that are technically feasible and aligned with business goals.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and technologies for data analysis and business intelligence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, data modeling, or a related field
- Working knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Python
- Working knowledge of data standards, principles, and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and requirements elicitation skills
- Committed to continuous learning
- Capable of working with minimal supervision, takes initiative, and is committed to completing tasks
