Business Development Specialist
Requirements
This job is in building and strengthening the sales pipeline. We need expert communicators and strategists who can drive revenue and growth through end-to-end delivery and develop strategic alliances and partnerships with key partners or clients in the Financial Services and Insurance industry.
- Regularly monitor and update client database and sales pipeline
- Lead Generation – conduct market research, acquire new clients and opportunities.
- Reach out to key decision makers (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc) to network with and arrange meetings.
- Build rapport and engage in relevant conversations to introduce the business.
- Conduct competitor analysis to find strategic placement in the market and identify the best approach in communicating.
- Able to conduct presentations or company overview as needed.
- Assist in the execution of the market strategy.
- Assist in gathering data and high-level requirements from clients to qualify opportunities
- Knowledge and appreciation of digital technologies
- Cultivate strong relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client relationships
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales and internal teams across all delivery units.
Qualifications

The Business Development Specialist should be able to present a good impression to clients.
- Able to articulate well verbally and through written correspondence in a professional and business-like manner.
- Should be well-organized to handle multiple projects simultaneously and understand that growing demands need a good ability to handle pressure.
- Should be able to problem-solve and analyze accordingly.
- To imbibe and adapt to the organization’s culture and core values first in order to present our value to clients and partners.
- With the right interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business management, marketing, or related field of study.
- 1 – 3 years relevant work experience in business development, sales or similar field preferred.
- Preferably with experience in Business Development or sales in a similar industry, focusing on IT Services and outsourcing.
- Knowledge of business development and channel/ pipeline management preferred.
- Experience in identifying profitable opportunities.
