Responsibilities

The Transformation Change Manager will support the transformation agenda of the client by ensuring that approved programs achieve the target outcomes through effective management of change.

  • Drive the creation of Change Management strategies and plans together with Business Leaders and the different cross-functional program teams to assess change impact to the business, realize faster adoption, build user knowledge and proficiency, and manage resistance
  • Support business units during the transition to help achieve business outcomes and improve client, advisor, and employee experience; track change adoption and revise Change Management strategies as required to meet transformation objectives
  • Support creation of program plans, communication plans, training and coaching plans; Together with program managers, ensure that change activities are considered in the transformation program timeline and budget, as well as in readiness checks prior to implementation
  • Monitor risks and issues related to Change Management and facilitate resolution with the program team
    • Establish structured processes and tools for Change Management
    • Champion the Change Management capability and practice in the organization; develop organizational capability through workshops, trainings, and coaching activities. Coach business leaders and change practitioners to help them fulfill their respective roles and deliverables in the change
    • Partner with leaders and influence business decisions related to Change Management
  • Demonstrated Change Management experience; has developed and applied repeatable processes and used a holistic set of tools to drive successful change initiatives
  • Thorough understanding of Change Management principles and delivery methodologies
  • Strong client-focus and understanding of business drivers, processes, technologies, and solutions
  • Understanding of the life insurance business and its multiple functions
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages for difference audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and develop relationships to influence change
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Seasoned change leader with at least 10 years of experience in successfully leading large-scale transformational changes
    • Experience in developing an organizational Change Management practice and training of change practitioners
    • Understanding of developments in the industry and issues faced by business operations and support functions; awareness of industry techniques and philosophies critical to modeling behaviors and developing organizational capabilities
    • Proven strong leadership and people management skills
