Project Manager
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Retail & Commercial Loans with 15+ years of experience in leading end-to-end secured and unsecured loan implementations for retail and commercial banking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Philippines banking market and proven expertise in large-scale program management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination.
This role requires strategic leadership to oversee multi-functional teams, ensure program alignment with business objectives, and drive seamless coordination with Temenos and system integration vendors. The candidate must possess strong risk management, communication, and budgeting skills, ensuring the timely delivery of critical banking transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee end-to-end implementations for secured and unsecured loans in retail and commercial banking.
- Develop and manage program plans, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with key business objectives.
- Track progress against milestones, ensuring timely and coordinated implementation across multiple teams.
- Proactively monitor and mitigate risks, ensuring seamless execution of banking transformation projects.
- Deliver comprehensive reports on program progress, challenges, and achievements to senior leadership.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT, business units, executive management, and external vendors.
- Ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and foster strong relationships across stakeholders.
- Work closely with Temenos and the System Integration vendor to align their deliverables with program objectives.
- Ensure smooth collaboration across cross-functional teams, both internal and external.
- Identify, assess, and manage program risks, taking proactive corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
- Address challenges in program execution while maintaining high-quality delivery standards.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Foster a collaborative work environment to drive program success.
- Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve challenges effectively.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience leading secured and unsecured loan implementations for retail and commercial banking.
- Prior experience working in the Philippines banking market is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record in program planning, budgeting, and milestone tracking.
- Hands-on experience working with Temenos and system integration vendors.
- Strong expertise in risk management, compliance, and issue resolution.
