SAP Solution Lead
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Enterprise Solution Architects, Application Managers, and Solution Analysts to explore business demand at the pre-prioritization stage, including requirements assessment, solution planning, prototyping, and impact analysis.
- Oversee package-based business solutions to ensure seamless integration with other application/infrastructure components.
- Gather, synthesize, and transform documentation from vendors, SMEs, systems, product managers, and business analysts into architectural diagrams or viewpoints.
- Lead cross-functional teams in creating high-level and conceptual designs for project delivery, leveraging enterprise architecture to guide solution development.
- Develop and analyze solution options based on business demand, considering functional and non-functional capabilities, risk, cost, and benefits.
- Ensure solution architecture design is documented according to the EA framework and promote sharing of artifacts to drive reuse.
- Provide consultancy on performance optimization for new and existing solutions, particularly during critical situations.
- Stay updated on technology trends, explore emerging technologies, and adapt the enterprise architecture to meet both near-term and long-term needs.
- Mentor junior Solution Architects, guiding their technical and personal development.
- Work with the Architecture Practice Lead to continuously improve the Solution Architecture discipline.
Education, Certifications, and Experience
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on SAP HANA solutioning experience in large-scale programs or projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP solutions, including SAP S4HANA, SAP Basis, and cloud integration/architecture.
- Experience in SAP technical areas, 3rd party integration, Cloud Integration, API Management.
- Architectural experience of at least one S4 HANA landscape.
- Ability to think conceptually and simplify complex problems through abstraction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders up to the executive level.
- Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and define multiple solution options to business problems.
- Passion for learning new technologies and staying abreast of the latest trends.
