Senior Sales/Business Development Executive (FSI Industry)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and directly pursue business opportunities for Thakral One’s portfolio/offerings in the FSI Industry.
  • Establish and nurture new client relationships with the objective of understanding their business requirements and providing tailored solutions/services to address their main business pain points.
  • Drive sales and business development results through the utilization of local or remote presales teams in a fast-paced, matrix organization.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of contracts (oversight only).
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, RFP responses, etc. to prospective clients, showcasing the value of Thakral One’s portfolio/offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and competitor activities in the Vietnam FSI Industry and share insights to presales and management team of the company to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, performance, and forecasts.
  • Manage and mentor junior members of the sales and business development team (approximately 1-3 persons).
  • Fully support the company’s sales objective and to be the trusted advisor of customers.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the FSI industry contacts and industry processes and policies in Vietnam is a firm requirement for this role.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of sales/business development experience in the FSI industry.
  • IT Services and/or consulting background in the FSI Industry is an advantage for this role. 
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and have meaningful and deep conversations about technology solutions, architecture, data analytics and IT Services.
  • Proven track record in business development, selling, and negotiation. Track record of consistently holding or exceeding goals using a consultative/solution-selling approach is expected in this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the IT solutions & services industry and market trends is a must.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve sales and business development goals and targets. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to achieve targets.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the direct sales and business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior members of the business development team is an advantage for this role.
