Tester and Training SME
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of testing scope and solution mapping to test scope, implementation of said scope through development of test cases and expected results, and execution of testing strategies for SharePoint, power apps, power automate and other Microsoft tools developed document management solutions.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users, focusing on SharePoint features, system integration workflows, and data repository usage. Provide level one support for users while also testing fixes from the development team during UAT and post go live.
- Review the solution to design a training plan for the needs of the customer, conduct interviews and understand training requirements along with design and deliver a training strategy plan and materials.
- Develop detailed training schedule and support BA with training materials etc.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new training needs and create tailored training materials.
- Manage user feedback during the testing phase and implement corrective actions as required.
- Build a FAQ and other easy to access answers for business to use when they need quick guidance and answers. Videos and screenshots preferred.
Requirements
- Ability to self manage with focus towards customer needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to write test case, expected outcome and detail orientated towards thinking about edge cases in testing every scenario
- Ability to work independently and challenge BA and solution from a user viewpoint
- Proven expertise in SharePoint solutions, power apps, power automate, integration processes, and data repositories. Understanding of reports and related testing and training.
- Strong background in training delivery, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in system testing and defect resolution methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud, SaaS, and on-premises applications.
