SEO Specialist
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all web properties.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, URLs, and content for search engine visibility.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content strategy and optimization efforts.
- Implement technical SEO improvements, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and structured data.
- Manage and implement link-building strategies to increase domain authority and backlink profile.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Provide regular reports and insights on SEO performance, including actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with content creators, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with SEO goals.
Technical Skillsets
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and search engine algorithms.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, GTM.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal).
- Knowledge of web performance optimization tools (e.g., Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights).
- Understanding of web security practices, including CSP and HSTS headers.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Data Studio).
- Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
Certifications
- Google Analytics Certification.
- SEO certification.
Relevant Experience
- Previous experience in Banking, e-commerce, SaaS, or other web-intensive industries.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and content creators.
