As an IT Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end technology project delivery within a banking environment, acting as the central coordination point between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors. You will ensure projects are delivered in alignment with governance standards, timelines, and financial targets while supporting continuity and stability across ongoing initiatives.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
Stakeholder Management
- Provide technology and project management support to ISG and business groups through active participation in meetings and management forums
- Act as the central point of coordination for all technology-related project activities
- Drive alignment and collaboration across banking divisions impacted by project initiatives
Project Management (End-to-End)
- Guide and support ISG resources assigned to the project to ensure effective delivery
- Manage the full project lifecycle including initiation, vendor selection, discovery, solutioning, design, build, test, deploy, and stabilisation
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including cost estimates, and ensure timely communication of updates to stakeholders
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues to minimise impact on delivery
- Control scope and manage changes to prevent scope creep
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project management reports
- Manage financials including budgets, expenses, and manpower costs from estimation through project closure
- Define and communicate project objectives, roles, and responsibilities clearly across all stakeholders
- Establish and enforce escalation frameworks across ISG, business teams, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, governance standards, and approved project management methodologies
Project Monitoring & Quality Assurance
- Monitor project performance against defined metrics to ensure delivery quality
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, unmet metrics, and defects
- Ensure readiness for transition by validating that all documentation, training materials, and guidelines are handed over during stabilisation
- Deliver outputs aligned with defined RACI under the BAGO or Hybrid process
Vendor Management
- Collaborate with Enterprise Vendor Management teams during vendor contract negotiations
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure alignment with project scope, timelines, and delivery expectations

Experience
- You have proven experience as an IT Project Manager within banking or financial services environments
- You have a strong background managing technology projects within structured governance frameworks
- You have experience working in multi-stakeholder environments, including business users, IT teams, and external vendors
- You have solid experience in end-to-end project delivery, risk management, and financial tracking
Technical Expertise
- You have strong understanding of project lifecycle management, risk and issue management, and scope control
- You are experienced in financial and budget management within project environments
- You are familiar with governance frameworks and compliance requirements in banking
