As a UAT Tester, you will validate insurance and claims workflows by designing and executing test cases that ensure smooth alignment between business operations and system functionality. You will collaborate with business teams, support claims processing activities, and contribute to defect management and reporting for continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
Business & Process Alignment
- Work closely with business teams to understand insurance and claims workflows, guidelines, and operational processes.
- Analyse requirements, identify process gaps, and ensure system functionality aligns with business operations.
- Support day-to-day operational activities related to claims processing and issue resolution.
Test Design & Execution
- Review functional and non-functional requirements to design clear, traceable test cases.
- Execute manual test cases for claims and insurance modules, validating all business scenarios.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
Defect Management & Reporting
- Log and manage defects with clear evidence and impact analysis.
- Collaborate with developers, consultants, and integration teams to resolve issues.
- Prepare test execution reports, maintain traceability between requirements and results, and document lessons learned.

Experience
- You have 2–6 years of experience in insurance or claims operations.
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of insurance and claims lifecycle, regulations, and workflows.
- Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases, test planning, and defect management.
- Proficient in SQL for data validation across systems.
- Skilled in API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI, with middleware validation experience.
- Familiar with logs, queues, MQ/Kafka, and interface monitoring tools.
- Experienced with test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, and Azure DevOps.
- Advantageous knowledge of cloud integrations (Azure, AWS, GCP), ETL data pipelines, message brokers, and automation frameworks (RestAssured, Karate).
