OBIEE Analyst

Location: Bangalore, India

As an OBIEE Analyst, you will design and deliver reports and dashboards that support financial services and banking operations. You will apply your expertise in Oracle BI technologies to ensure secure, accurate, and optimised reporting while collaborating with teams to meet business requirements. 

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

  • Build reports and dashboards using OBIEE 11g/12c aligned with business needs. 
  • Apply Oracle SQL queries and dimensional data warehouse concepts to deliver accurate insights. 
  • Customise and manage OBIEE Repository (RPD) to support reporting requirements. 
  • Design and develop BI Publisher reports for financial and operational use. 
  • Optimise performance of complex OBIEE reports to ensure efficiency. 
  • Work with Oracle WebLogic server architecture, preferably on Linux, to support deployments. 
  • Use database development tools such as Toad or SQL Developer to streamline workflows. 

We’d Love to Hear From You If…

Experience

  • You have 3–5 years of experience building reports and dashboards with OBIEE 11g/12c. 
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
  • You have experience in the financial services or banking industry (preferred). 

Technical Expertise

  • You are proficient in Oracle SQL queries and dimensional data warehouse concepts. 
  • You have working knowledge of OBIEE Repository (RPD) and RPD customisation. 
  • You are skilled in BI Publisher report design and development. 
  • You understand Oracle WebLogic server architecture, preferably on Linux. 
  • You have experience with database development tools such as Toad or SQL Developer. 
  • You are familiar with performance tuning of complex OBIEE reports. 
  • You have exposure to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAS), OBIA, or Tableau (advantage).
