As a Data Governance Specialist, you will design and implement enterprise‑wide data governance frameworks that enable compliance, stewardship, and strategic value creation. You will partner with clients to translate business needs into governance policies and processes, ensuring data integrity, security, and usability across Banking and Financial Services domains.

- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and processes aligned with business objectives.
- Establish data stewardship models, roles, and accountabilities to drive ownership and compliance.
- Design and operationalise large‑scale governance programmes, including KPIs to measure effectiveness.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to embed governance practices across the organisation.
- Apply expertise in metadata management, data quality, master data, and data security management.
- Integrate governance with data architecture principles, analytics, and AI/machine learning initiatives.
- Adopt emerging governance technologies and methodologies to address complex data challenges.
- Drive a culture of data stewardship and unlock the strategic value of enterprise data assets.

Experience
- You have 12+ years of experience, including 8+ years in progressive data management, data governance, or related roles.
- You have strong exposure to Banking and Financial Services domains and regulatory requirements.
Technical Expertise
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- You are experienced in designing and implementing comprehensive governance programmes.
- You are proficient with governance tools and platforms such as Collibra or Informatica.
- You have knowledge of metadata management, data quality, master data, and data security management.
- You understand data architecture principles, data science concepts, and how governance enables analytics and AI/ML initiatives.
- You have experience with cloud data governance and managing data in multi‑cloud environments (advantage).
