As a Motor Control Engineer, you will define, design, and validate system‑level requirements for advanced control systems, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and certification processes. You will collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver robust architectures, verification, and integration testing for safety‑critical applications.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
- Interpret customer requirements and translate them into system‑level requirements, architecture, detailed design, and low‑level specifications.
- Lead requirements management activities, including reviews and top‑down traceability.
- Collaborate with project engineering, software, electrical design, safety, and reliability teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support aircraft systems design and certification activities.
- Conduct system‑level verification and integration testing to validate compliance.
- Apply ARP 4754 and ARP 4761 methodologies, with familiarity in RTCA DO‑178, DO‑254, and DO‑160 certification standards.
- Use system engineering tools such as DOORS or Polarion for requirements traceability and management.
- Apply modelling tools such as Simscape and MATLAB/Simulink for control modelling, troubleshooting, and requirement validation.

- You have supported aircraft systems design and certification activities.
Technical Expertise
- You are proficient in requirements management tools such as DOORS or Polarion.
- You are familiar with ARP 4754, ARP 4761, and RTCA DO‑178, DO‑254, and DO‑160 standards.
- You have knowledge of modelling tools such as Simscape and expertise in MATLAB/Simulink.
- You are experienced in control modelling and troubleshooting.
