As an ABAP Full‑Stack Lead, you will drive the end‑to‑end design, development, and optimisation of SAP‑based product features on S/4HANA and SAP BTP with SAP Public or Private Cloud. You will architect scalable, reusable, clean‑core compliant solutions across backend and frontend layers, ensuring high‑quality engineering and delivery impact.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
- Lead technical design and development for product features on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
- Architect and implement RAP/ABAP REST APIs, CDS Views, enhancements, and cloud extensions.
- Develop enterprise‑grade Fiori/UI5 applications across full stack (OData, CDS, UI5).
- Implement clean‑core and extensibility patterns using BTP, side‑by‑side, and event mesh.
- Own code quality, peer reviews, unit test coverage, and CI/CD adoption.
- Collaborate with product managers, functional SMEs, UX, and QA to ship features on sprint cadence.
- Optimise performance of CDS, RFCs, OData, RAP actions, and data models.
- Mentor developers, define coding standards, and enforce secure coding and product engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis, optimisation, and hardening fixes.
- Maintain documentation aligned with product engineering and release governance.

Experience
- You have 10–14 years of experience in SAP product build, cloud‑first engineering, or public cloud environments.
- You have team leadership and code governance experience.
Technical Expertise
- You hold a BE, B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent degree.
- You are strong in ABAP on S/4HANA (OO‑ABAP, enhancements, BADIs, AMDP, CDS, RAP).
- You are experienced in custom OData/RAP services and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, events, RFC).
- You are proficient in SAP BTP Extension Suite (RAP mandatory, CAP optional).
- You have full‑stack Fiori/UI5 development expertise (views, controllers, reuse libraries, theming).
- You are skilled in Git, ATC, ABAP Test Cockpit, and CI/CD pipelines on SAP/BTP.
- You have deep knowledge of clean‑core principles and cloud extensibility.
- You are familiar with CAP (Node/Java), BTP Workflow/Business Rules, Event Mesh, and SAP Integration Suite/CPI basics (advantage).
- You have domain exposure in supply chain modules (PP/PLM/QM, MM, PM) and experience in scalable multi‑tenant product build or SaaS on BTP (advantage).
- SAP ABAP/BTP certifications (RAP/CAP/Fiori/UI5) are an advantage.
