As a Project Manager, you will lead strategic and operational initiatives across the life sciences value chain, driving programmes from concept through delivery. You will ensure strong governance, cross functional alignment, organisational readiness, and measurable business outcomes within a regulated environment.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
Portfolio and Program Leadership
- Manage a portfolio of projects across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain long term roadmaps covering project prioritisation, sequencing, and resource planning.
- Establish governance frameworks and support structured decision making with senior stakeholders.
Project Planning, Execution and Control
- Build detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, budget, and resourcing.
- Monitor progress using structured methodologies, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, compliance, and business requirements.
- Track and report ROI, benefits realisation, and performance metrics.
Financial and Resource Management
- Manage project and portfolio budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
- Optimise resource allocation across Project Managers, Business Process Analysts, and cross functional teams.
- Maintain financial discipline and transparency through structured reporting.
Process and Operational Excellence
- Lead process re engineering initiatives using Six Sigma and internal audit frameworks.
- Improve end to end Order to Cash processes, including inventory management and supply and demand planning.
- Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Change Management and Organisational Readiness
- Lead change management activities including impact assessments, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate workshops, training programmes, and capability building initiatives.
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and Business Process Analysts.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to support performance and career progression.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
We’d Love to Hear From You If…
Experience
- You have at least seven years of experience in project or programme management, preferably within pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices.
- You bring hands on experience in portfolio management, financial oversight, and strategic programme delivery.
- You have worked in regulated environments such as GxP or GMP.
Technical Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, business, or a related field.
- PMP certification.
- Six Sigma certification at Green Belt or Black Belt level.
- Strong understanding of end to end Order to Cash processes or similar operational domains.
- Exposure to ERP transformations or digital and analytics initiatives.
