L1 Network Support & Monitoring – Junior

Location: Philippines

As a Junior L1 Network Support & Monitoring professional, you will help maintain around‑the‑clock network availability by monitoring alerts, performing basic troubleshooting, and escalating issues when needed. This entry‑level role offers an opportunity to build your networking skills while supporting the client’s NOC.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

  • Alert monitoring & ticketing: Monitor network alerts, create tickets, and classify incidents by severity. Follow escalation processes to ensure unresolved issues move to senior team members.
  • Basic troubleshooting & support: Perform first‑response troubleshooting on network devices and connectivity issues under guidance. Assist with maintaining printers, scanners, and desktop hardware.
  • Network maintenance assistance: Support upkeep of LAN/WAN links, remote access, and VPN services. Participate in software inventory and licence management tasks.
  • Security, backup & patch management: Assist with patch management, backup and recovery, firewall and intrusion prevention, and policy enforcement.
  • Documentation & knowledge sharing: Update shift logs, record actions taken, and contribute to the NOC’s knowledge base.
  • Collaboration & training: Work closely with senior support engineers, participate in training sessions, and embrace continuous learning to grow technical expertise.

We’d Love to Hear From You If…

Experience

  • You have up to two years of experience in technical support.
  • Alternatively, you have completed relevant networking coursework or certifications.

Technical Expertise

  • You understand networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • You have exposure to routers, switches, and basic monitoring tools.
  • You can learn ticketing systems and follow runbooks effectively.

Ways of Working

  • You are eager to learn and detail‑oriented.
  • You are ready to work rotating shifts in a 24×7 environment.
  • You communicate clearly, follow procedures diligently, and know when to escalate issues.

Assignment Details

  • Contract Duration: 5 years (1 Jul 2026 – 30 Jun 2031)
  • Shift: 24×7 NOC monitoring with rotating shifts and escalation to senior teams
