As a T24 Middleware Admin, you will design, implement, and maintain highly available middleware platforms supporting T24 core banking systems. You will ensure resilience, performance optimisation, and compliance across middleware environments, while collaborating with architecture, infrastructure, and application teams to support integration and regional platform initiatives.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
Middleware Design & Implementation
- Design and implement highly available, resilient middleware platforms.
- Prepare and maintain middleware standard designs and configurations.
- Define non‑functional testing strategies (performance, availability, security).
Performance Optimisation & Troubleshooting
- Analyse transaction volumes, throughput, and response times to optimise platform performance.
- Troubleshoot middleware configuration and performance issues.
- Review system resource utilisation and identify optimisation opportunities.
Platform Support & Collaboration
- Support regional platform initiatives such as ESB, integration, and data platforms.
- Work closely with architecture, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure alignment.
We’d Love to Hear From You If…
Experience
- You have 5–10 years of relevant working experience in middleware administration.
- You have experience in middleware installation, configuration, and patching.
- You have worked with IBM MQ queue/channel administration, SSL certificate management, and application deployment/troubleshooting.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in computing or a relevant field.
Technical Expertise
- You are proficient in middleware technologies such as JBoss and IBM MQ.
- You have strong knowledge of application servers, web servers, database servers, Linux/Windows platforms, networking fundamentals, and virtualisation.
- You are familiar with PowerShell scripting and SQL database maintenance (optional).
- You have exposure to monitoring and analytics tools such as Kibana, Grafana, or Power BI.
