Change Manager – Banking
About the Role
We are looking for a Change Manager with a strong background in technology-driven change to support a bank’s digital transformation program. This role focuses on overseeing the risks, impacts, and communication around technology change initiatives, particularly in core banking systems, rather than traditional organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, track, and manage the impact and risk of IT changes related to digital and core banking transformation.
- Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure readiness and alignment on technology-driven changes.
- Develop and execute change impact assessments, plans, and communications tailored to technical rollouts.
- Collaborate with program managers and solution leads to integrate change activities into the project lifecycle.
- Ensure risk mitigation strategies are in place for high-impact changes affecting operational or customer-facing systems.
- Maintain visibility and governance over technology change control processes and approval cycles.
- Monitor and report on readiness indicators, adoption trends, and risk outcomes to leadership and project sponsors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in change management, with at least 5 years in a technology-driven change environment (preferably banking or financial services).
- PROSCI certification is an added benefit
- Strong understanding of IT change control, infrastructure updates, and application rollouts.
- Experience supporting core banking modernization or similar transformation programs is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, assess risk, and communicate impacts of technology change clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with banking regulatory compliance and IT governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
