As a Functional Tester – Banking, you will validate banking applications through structured functional testing. You will be actively involved in requirement analysis, test planning, test case scripting, defect documentation, and clarifications, ensuring quality delivery across projects.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
Test Planning & Documentation
- Participate in requirement analysis and prepare detailed test plans.
- Document test scenarios and script test cases.
- Record and clarify defects, ensuring accurate documentation.
Execution & Quality Assurance
- Perform functional testing of banking applications.
- Ensure defect management and resolution using tools such as JIRA or similar.
- Support test environment activities and package preparation.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with managers and users to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Contribute to automation and performance testing initiatives (good to have).

Experience
- You have 3–5 years of overall experience in software testing.
- You have experience in functional testing, preferably in the banking domain.
Technical Expertise
- You are proficient in requirement analysis, test planning, test case scripting, and defect documentation.
- You are experienced with test management and defect management tools such as JIRA or similar.
- You have exposure to automation and performance testing (good to have).
