As a Marketing Technical Representative (MTR), you will deliver technical service activities in your assigned region, supporting aftermarket operations and promoting products to local garages and mechanics. You will act as a key link between the field and the organisation, ensuring product awareness, data collection, and customer engagement.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
- Conduct field surveys of IAM local garages and mechanics following defined formats.
- Build and maintain a data bank of garages and mechanics.
- Create awareness and promote identified products and new offerings related to IAM.
- Support Field Sales Engineers (FSE) and Field Product Engineers (FPE) in van campaigns, mechanics meets, and MTC activities.
- Encourage IAM mechanics to install and use the Brakes India CONNECT app.
- Collect feedback from local garages on company and competitor products.
- Install and manage internal MTC/MTR apps, addressing mechanics’ queries in consultation with FSEs.

Experience
- You have 1–2 years of experience, preferably in an OEM dealer workshop.
Technical Expertise
- You hold a diploma in Automobile or Mechanical engineering.
- You are familiar with friction, rotor, fluid, and air actuation products supplied to IAM.
- You understand garage operations and mechanics’ needs in the aftermarket sector.
Ways of Working
- You own a two‑wheeler with a valid driving licence.
- You are familiar with the local language in your assigned region.
- You demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail.
- You collaborate effectively with field teams to deliver campaigns and customer engagement.
