As a Regional Finance Lead (APAC), you will oversee accounting operations and financial reporting across the organisation’s Asia Pacific footprint. You will drive financial efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen finance operations across multiple countries while serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership within a fast paced, multi region environment.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
Accounts and Operations
- Take a hands on role in accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across the region.
- Manage finance operations across multiple countries and facilitate effective communication between local and regional teams.
- Prepare, analyse, and validate financial and management reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor billing, collections, expense tracking, and related operational processes.
- Coordinate month end close activities and consolidation of subsidiary accounts.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities.
- Track budget versus actuals and perform variance analysis.
- Support strategic financial planning and provide finance advisory support to business leaders.
Taxation and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws across jurisdictions and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Apply tax knowledge to transactions and recommend sound and compliant approaches.
- Collaborate effectively with multicultural teams and stakeholders across regions.
Internal Controls
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes and internal systems.
- Ensure financial records are accurate, secure, and aligned with internal policies and guidelines.

Experience
- You have more than seventeen years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
- You bring strong leadership capability and can provide strategic finance advice to C level stakeholders.
- You have experience working across regional or multi country finance environments.
- You are willing to travel within the APAC region.
Technical Expertise
- Certified Public Accountant qualification.
- Strong knowledge of regional accounting practices and taxation.
- Hands on experience in accounting operations, reporting, and taxation.
- In depth understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
- Industry experience in IT consulting, technology services, telco, or shared services environments is preferred.
- Comfortable championing automation, workflow optimisation, and financial process improvements.
