As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will design and deliver scalable, resilient, and secure technology solutions within a global financial services environment. You will contribute to building trusted market-leading products, collaborating with agile teams to push the limits of what is possible in banking, payments, trading systems, and cloud integration.

System Design & Development
- Design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Java or Python.
- Execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate seamlessly with systems.
Architecture & Continuous Improvement
- Produce or contribute to architecture and design artefacts, ensuring alignment with design constraints.
- Gather, analyse, and synthesise data to develop visualisations and reporting that drive continuous improvement.
- Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Collaboration & Community
- Partner with product teams to deliver iterative improvements.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring emerging technologies.

Experience
- You have 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- You have experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments.
Technical Expertise
- Proficient in Java and familiar with Python.
- Skilled in SQL and database querying languages.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experienced in agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Familiar with modern front-end technologies, particularly ReactJS.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes across disciplines such as cloud, AI, machine learning, and mobile.
