As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will design, build, and maintain custom ABAP programs and enhancements that support enterprise utility and financial processes. You will work across SAP IS-U and FI-CA modules, ensuring solutions are well-integrated with business processes and external systems while supporting reliable delivery, testing, and deployment.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and enhancements using BADIs, user exits, and the enhancement framework.
- Work with IS-U billing tables such as ERCH and DBERCHZ1, and FI-CA tables such as DFKKKO, DFKKOP, and DFKKOPK for reconciliation and reporting.
- Implement data migration and incremental load programmes using BAPIs, IDocs, and custom logic.
- Optimise ABAP code for SAP HANA performance using CDS views and AMDP.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support integration with external payment systems through RFC and REST APIs.
- Prepare technical documentation and support testing and deployment activities.

Experience
- You have 4 to 5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in utilities industry projects will be an advantage.
Technical Expertise
- You have strong knowledge of SAP IS-U and FI-CA processes.
- You have experience with object-oriented ABAP, CDS views, and HANA optimisation.
- You are familiar with incremental load strategies and reconciliation logic.
- You have a good understanding of SAP integration technologies such as RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and REST.
- Exposure to SAP Solution Manager or similar tools will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud integration will be an advantage.
