The Opportunity.
The Senior Test Engineer leads major components of the testing cycle, performs complex defect analysis, contributes to automation, and ensures high-quality delivery across multiple applications. This role requires strong technical depth, ownership, and ability to support extended and on-call testing cycles.
The Role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of complex testing scenarios across functional, regression, E2E, API, and integration.
- Participate in test planning, test scenario design, and coverage mapping.
- Perform advanced RCA and manage defect triage with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee test data setup, environment validation, and pre-release checks.
- Provide support during extended test windows and escalated testing cycles.
- Mentor junior and mid-level testers.
- Contribute to test automation activities (scripting, validation, reusable library support).
- Ensure complete documentation of results, defects, and summary reports.
The Expertise.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- ISTQB Advanced Level is an advantage.
Experience & Background:
- 6–8 years in testing/QA roles.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end enterprise application testing.
- Experience working in high-volume, multi-system integration environments.
- Automation exposure (Selenium, SOAPUI, API automation) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of functional, E2E, and API testing
- Ability to design and review test scenarios and test scripts
- Skilled in test management and defect lifecycle tools
- Understanding of automation frameworks (bonus)
Additional Qualities:

- Excellent communication and escalation management
- Comfortable with on-call or extended-hour support
