Social Insights Analyst

Location: Vietnam

As a Social Insights Analyst, you will unlock consumer insights from multiple curated data sources to help global businesses make strategic decisions. You will analyse social and digital data, model consumer behaviour, and deliver actionable insights that shape marketing strategies in the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

  • Identify and source global data to support analytics teams.
  • Analyse large datasets across websites, social media platforms, and internal business data to uncover consumer behaviour and insights.
  • Extract meaningful insights from digital platforms and present findings to marketers and stakeholders.
  • Perform data modelling, statistical analysis, and social/search analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Build effective queries to derive relevant mentions and sharpen research objectives.
  • Stay current with local trends and social media developments in Vietnam.
  • Take full ownership of digital research execution projects, from low to high complexity.
  • Continuously explore and adopt new tools and methodologies to enhance research capabilities.

We’d Love to Hear From You If…

Experience

  • You have 2–4 years of experience in social media analytics.
  • You have experience presenting analytical findings to internal stakeholders.
  • You have exposure to consumer insights in FMCG or related industries.

Technical Expertise

  • You are fluent in Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken.
  • You are advanced in Excel, including data extraction, manipulation, and visualisation.
  • You are skilled in data profiling, cleansing, and statistical analysis.
  • You are experienced in handling large datasets and extracting consumer insights.
  • Preferred: experience with social listening tools such as Talkwalker or Brandwatch, and marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, or Google AdWords.
  • Preferred: experience in retail/channels industry, brand management, or sales.
